Cars Drivers Licence (Class C)

IWDTC provides training for the class (C) licence – automatic and manual cars. We provide training within the Moreton Shire on the Northern suburbs of Brisbane.

In Queensland there is graduated licensing with the aim of the system to reduce fatalities on our roads - particularly among yound drivers. The aim of the system is to encourage safer and more proficient drivers and riders.

There are four steps to the graduated licensing system:

1. Learner licence
2. P1 Provisional licence
3. P2 Provisional licence
4. Open licence

Queensland's licensing system recognises the need for drivers and riders to hold a particular class of licence for a set period of time before being able to upgrade to the next class of licence. This arrangement gives learners the opportunity to gain additional driving skills for the lower class of vehicle before driving or ridiing more demanding vehicles.

We also provide Driver Skills Awareness Training. Call the office for more details on course locations and dates.

Training with IWDTC will assist drivers in developing knowledge, skills, attitude and awareness needed to not only pass a Q-SAFE driving assessment, but for safe driving on the road.

Hold a current “blue card” for working with young people under 18 years of age
