This unit involves the skills and knowledge required to drive a multi-combination vehicle safely, including systematic and efficient control of all vehicle functions, coupling and uncoupling of dollies, monitoring of traffic and road conditions, management of vehicle condition and performance, and effective management of hazardous situations.

All applicants are given a Learner’s Resource Folder (includes the B-Double Route Maps for Queensland) and a Load Restraint Guide as part of the course materials.
Training is conducted one-on-one, student:trainer ratio in a synchromesh MAN. Training is available Monday to Saturday and some Sundays by special appointment. |
